A Missouri high school student is trying to raise awareness about teen mental health. High school junior Lela Berning, after losing a friend to suicide, said it was time to make a change. Berning has created a LOVE YOUth program designed to provide a safe space for teens. She continues to work hard to help bring more focus to teen mental health and suicide prevention, by starting conversations and providing support.
